2023 Board Getaway
On September 18, we held our annual Board Getaway at the beautiful Bernardus Lodge & Spa in Carmel Valley. The meeting began with Chris Walker giving an update on current legislation proposals, including climate changes, raising the number of sick days per year and lead thresholds. He also discussed the Pause Pledge, an initiative to help California business owners by encouraging legislators and the Governor to hit the pause button on new employer mandates.

Throughout the day, members engaged in productive discussions on various topics affecting our organization. Reports were given on finances, the training trust and PAGA. Overall, it was a highly successful and informative event, and we look forward to next year’s Board Getaway.
