Effective this year, the Women in Construction group is a new Bay Area SMACNA Mission Partner and will incorporate into a separate non-profit. We’re excited to continue to grow and develop our organization with the support of our contractors and volunteers. Our mission remains: To inspire diversity and inclusion in the sheet metal and construction industry that will enable individuals, organizations and communities to reach their full potential.

We are primarily sponsored by Bay Area SMACNA, Bay Area SMACNA associate members and other sheet metal contractor members signatory to SMW Local 104 for the benefit of our membership. Other construction-related organizations and employees have also joined or provided financial support.
