Forklift Training Available for Bay Area SMACNA Members
Improve on-site safety by establishing a forklift safety program within your company. Comprehensive, effective and affordable safety training for Bay Area SMACNA members is now available through Forklift Academy, with a $500 reimbursement from SMACNA!
Training options include:
- Train the Trainer course at the Hayward Forklift Academy location + Train the Trainer kit = $700 (regularly $875)
- DIY Train the Trainer course + Train the Trainer kit = $398 plus shipping (regularly $498 plus shipping)
- On-site Train the Trainer course + Train the Trainer kit = $700 per trainer (minimum of 3 people)
*The Train the Trainer kit includes a USB PowerPoint presentation, free Forklift Operator Training USB, an instructor guide, new OSHA regulations information, forklift compliance, operator guide, daily inspection checklist, attendance sheet, written and driving tests, 20 certificates and 20 wallet cards.
This OSHA compliant program is tailored to provide education and materials required for individuals with experience on the shop floor or at a warehouse location and who are familiar with the forklift equipment necessary to become a trainer for the company.

UP TO ONE $500 reimbursement
per member firm per year To request your reimbursement, send an invoice to Bay Area SMACNA for “Forklift Academy Reimbursement.” Attach a copy of the Certificate of Completion and copy of your Forklift Academy invoice.
